Caring for our Community
We take seriously our place in the community, whether it's visits to local schools or food banks, serving on community boards, or working with our partners and fans to funnel charity dollars to where they are needed most.
Community
We are a proud member of the Los Angeles community, partnering with numerous organizations including the Koreatown Youth + Community Center. Throughout the year we are involved with local fundraising activities as well as visits to schools,
hospitals and local charitable organizations in an effort to benefit our region and
continually say thanks for supporting this event. Help us in the fight against hunger
by gaining free admission during our first round by donating three non-perishables
at the main gate. Our food drive, which benefits the LA Regional Food Bank, helped feed 1,900 families last year.
We're excited to once again feature artwork from local children on the face of our daily grounds tickets. During February - in partnership with UCLA Health, CBB Bank and Third Street Elementary - hundreds of children submitted their designs and four were selected as winners. Each winner was recognized at our annual Media Day.
Charity
The LPGA and our annual tournaments have donated more than $200 million to
charities throughout the United States and in international territories. In Los Angeles, we're proud to be able to work with community partners like UCLA Health Foundation, Southern California Golf Association, Southern California PGA, The First Tee of Los Angeles, Girls Inc. and the LA Regional Food Bank.
