The best field in women's golf is expected on the grounds of Wilshire Country Club when the stars of the LPGA make their first return to the city of Los Angeles in more than ten years.
Shanshan Feng, the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world, and IK Kim, the No.5-ranked golfer, committed this week to play in the 2018 HUGEL-JTBC LA Open. With their commitments the field currently includes 93 of the top 100 players on last year's money list.
In addition to every season-ending money leader since 2010, as well every winner of the Race to the CME Globe, the field will now include 20 of the last 20 major winners.
The final field of 144 players will compete over 72 holes at Wilshire Country Club for a share of the $1.5 million purse. The tournament will be televised live on Golf Channel.
